About Us

We are a hyperlocal family-run pet sitting team in Seattle, Washington.

Coral has been caring for pets full-time for over 6 years and officially started her own business in 2022. She now has a diverse client base, and often hires her mom to help care for their pets when she is unavailable. Together the mother-and-daughter team offer a variety of pet-care services across Northwest Seattle.

Background & Experience

In addition to working with our client's pets and with our own, we volunteer at shelters and foster whenever we can. We have a multitude of experiences with animals who have special physical, mental, and emotional needs. We have worked with blind, deaf, diabetic, and epileptic animals, and dealt with separation anxiety, leashed reactivity, severe aggression, neurological and eating disorders, hospice care, chemotherapy, and most things in between. We have even rescued one-eyed cats and walked tri-pawds and wheelchair-doggos!

We have also cared for dogs and cats of all sizes as well as other mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, outdoor fowl and more. Our oldest client is Tina the tortoise!

Disclaimer: We reserve the right to refuse service to any client at any time for safety and/or logistical reasons. However, we will NEVER refuse service to any human or pet based on sex, gender identity or presentation; sexual, romantic or relationship orientation; race, ethnicity, or nationality; religion; age; or physical or mental abilities. This is a safe space for us all to come as we are and be ourselves. Please be kind!

Meet The Team

Coral Brannan

Coral has been living with and caring for animals all her life. As a child she helped her mom adopt and foster a variety of pets and was exposed to many breeds, sizes, and health conditions. Since then, she learned proper animal handling and training and has fostered and trained her own pets. After graduating from the University of Washington Coral began professionally housesitting and dog walking, quickly realizing this is the life for her. One day she plans to open a rescue ranch and network for dogs and horses with a focus on disabilities and restricted breeds named 'Gems in the Ruff' after her beloved late pit bull mix dog, Gemma Fiona @pittiethefool who inspired her to enter the pet care world and give back to other animals in need. For now, she lives in Ballard with her partner Taylor and their two rescue cats Bibi & Lupita, and she hosts trivia and bingo nights at Ballard Beer Company on Thursdays and Fridays for fun.

Shayla Brannan

Shayla has loved animals her entire life, and started adopting pets as soon as she became an adult. As a single mother Shayla raised her child and multiple pets on her own at the same time. A lover of animals with a soft spot for underdogs, she took on a number of animals with disabilities and special needs over the years. Through this, she taught her daughter how to care for several types of animals at all life stages and showed her the unspeakable bond that comes from helping another living being in need. Together, they adopted a neglected pit bull named Gemma and the 12 years they spent with her taught them more about love, prejudice, and the importance of living life to its fullest than any human ever could have. Shayla now lives in Queen Anne with her rescue cat Jette, and works with her daughter part-time offering Housesitting and Drop-In Visits when she's not busy nannying for clients or working in the Alaska Airlines Lounge.
